About Me

My name is Terri Rustand and I am a self taught artist. I live in Western Australia, near the coast not far from Fremantle.
After 40 years working as a Registered Nurse, I originally started painting in 2016 as a way to help deal with the grief of losing my daughter, who died on her 24th birthday in tragic circumstances.
Art has literally saved my life.
My paintings are in acrylic, oil, watercolour and resin. I use artists' quality paints, canvases and paper.

I work at home in my tiny studio with the help of our little critic, Jack our dog who stars in several of my Youtube videos.

My paintings have been purchased in Western Australia, NSW, Victoria, Queensland, as well as Switzerland, USA and New Zealand.
Several of my paintings are hanging in restaurants in the Fremantle area.
I love creating, more than anything. My passion is to use texture in my paintings,
especially because my husband is blind and he can "see" them with his hands.
